About this camp

This immersive one-week program at Tufts University introduces high school students to the core principles of game development, interactive storytelling, and coding. Participants will engage in the full game development pipeline, from initial concept and storytelling to prototyping and coding, ultimately creating their own playable games. The curriculum emphasizes technical skills, creative problem-solving, teamwork, and industry workflows. Students will gain hands-on experience designing, prototyping, and coding, learning about the collaborative roles of designers, developers, and storytellers in the gaming industry. The program includes hands-on projects, collaborative work, and a final showcase where students can present their creations.

What a typical day looks like

Each weekday, students arrive by 8:45 AM for check-in, with programming running until no later than 6 PM, followed by check-out.
