The MIT Athletic Performance Lab offers an intensive instructional program for dedicated high school athletes (grades 9-12) seeking a competitive edge. The program focuses on developing critical components of athletic performance: strength, speed, mobility, and explosiveness. Athletes will master proper lifting techniques for upper body, lower body, and core, progressively building strength and stability. They will enhance acceleration, deceleration, and agility through expert instruction in efficient linear and lateral movement mechanics. The program also improves joint health, flexibility, and functional strength with dynamic drills and proven movement strategies, and unleashes power with targeted plyometrics, throws, Olympic lift variations, and jump training.
