This one-week introductory program offers students a hands-on exploration of sports medicine, focusing on how to help athletes maintain health, strength, and readiness for play. Participants will engage in beginner-friendly skills such as taping an ankle, practicing basic CPR techniques on training mannequins, and learning safe movement practices. The curriculum delves into the mechanisms of athletic injuries, immediate post-injury care, and the rehabilitation process. Students will also investigate why specific sports are prone to certain injuries, like concussions in football or ACL injuries in soccer, and discover preventive measures through proper warm-ups, conditioning, and technique. What a typical day looks like

Programs run from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a one-hour break for lunch. An extended day program is available until 5:00 PM at no additional charge.
