About this camp

Camp Invention's Spark program offers an immersive, week-long STEM adventure for children entering grades K-6. Campers engage in hands-on activities designed to foster creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills. The program features four unique modules: Space Morphers, Make Waves, Fur-ensics, and The Infringers. In Space Morphers, children build and launch DIY rockets, experimenting with trajectory and transforming a planet's ecosystem while making scientific observations in a space lab. Make Waves encourages entrepreneurial thinking as campers design billboard boats, conduct buoyancy experiments, and pitch their innovative products. Fur-ensics sharpens detective skills through forensic science activities, where campers investigate animal mysteries with robotic capybaras and create sleuthing gadgets. Finally, in The Infringers, campers team up with the Innovation Force to solve community challenges, miniaturize technology, safeguard designs using cryptography, and learn about intellectual property protection. The curriculum is inspired by real-world inventors and aims to build an "I Can Invent" mindset, promoting persistence, adaptability, and creative problem-solving.

What a typical day looks like
